The certifications

Coffee Time has chosen to collaborate with Star Coffee Srl to have the maximum certifications and give a quality product.

Star Coffee Srl has set up an organizational structure equipped with work methods that comply with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 22000:2005 standards, conceived in such a way as to guarantee customer satisfaction and prevent deficiencies relating to food safety in the products by correcting own operating methods in each phase of the production cycle.
The certification of the Quality and Food Safety Management System represents a fundamental step in our journey towards the total satisfaction of the requirements established by our Customers, as well as a moral commitment in the search to satisfy all legislative and regulatory requirements and safety requirements food.
The Quality and Food Safety Management System allows you to operate effectively, allowing you to manage the different company processes in a planned and controlled way and always seeking an improvement in the products supplied, with particular reference to food safety requirements.
From the finest coffees Monti has created superior quality blends for three specific product lines that share the unmistakable aroma and taste of Monti coffee.
Each pod, capsule or blend of the Monti company contains the immense pleasure of a fine coffee, roasted and ground with skilful skill to delight all tastes and satisfy the needs of each customer.
The Organization guarantees and ensures that all the products supplied comply with the regulations on food hygiene: in fact, we have planned, implemented and monitored a food safety management system, based on a strict hygienic-health self-assessment in compliance with the regulations in force on the subject of food hygiene (EC Regulation 852/2004).
The self-control system is applied in compliance and with reference to the HACCP methodology, thus representing a suitable tool for raising the hygienic-sanitary standard in the production cycle, correlated by suitable and continuous staff training in the best practices of correct hygiene practice .

Caffè Monti also complies with the legislation on food traceability, indicating in the commercial documents the reference to the batch of food products (EC Regulation 178/2002).
The mechanisms applied allow, through appropriate physical and documentary methods, to possess all the information relating to the product and to activate the appropriate "blocking" or "recall" procedures for any non-compliant products.
In addition, the company has also undertaken a Food Safety certification process according to the international standard "ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems - Requirements for any organization in the food chain" which defines the requirements for the design and application of a food safety management for the development and management of food safety through the HACCP method. All this always with a view to transparency, for the protection of customers.

The Management, with the aim of achieving and increasing the well-being and satisfaction of its employees and obtaining maximum involvement on their part, also undertakes to guarantee the best working conditions, in full compliance with the regulatory provisions on safety, and identifies needs and expectations in terms of competence, organizational knowledge, recognition, professional satisfaction and individual development. Each member of the Staff must actively participate in the growth of Quality and Food Safety in the Company, collaborating with the Company Management in defining management procedures and engaging both in the detection and prompt management of non-compliance with the lines defined by the Quality documentation, for continuous improvement of the activities of all corporate functions.

The Management, with the introduction of the Quality System, in fact hopes to introduce a constructive mentality within the company, which allows to proceed regularly to the achievement of the pre-established objectives and to continuously improve company performance.
With a view to this improvement, the measurable objectives for quality and food safety are periodically defined, which the company intends to achieve starting from the general intentions expressed in this document and a process of continuous updating of these is activated. objectives and of the Quality and Food Safety Policy itself, in order to continuously adapt them to ever-changing needs.

The Company Management therefore works to ensure that the Food Quality and Safety Policy is disseminated and understood at all levels within the company, is disclosed to the relevant interested parties as far as necessary, and calls all personnel to pursue the policy for the quality.

The Management hopes to obtain the maximum contribution from all personnel for the achievement of the set objectives and for continuous improvement.
